Link Nutrition's guide to getting the most out of your weeks
Emily Shannon
Our goal for 2020 is to help you plan better! With this in mind, we thought we’d give you a few tips to help you get the most of your weeks and to help you achieve the goals that you’ve set yourself this year!. First up, planning! We’re big believers in planning and thinking ahead, why? Because time is precious (how is it already nearly February!) and there are plenty of things you can do to make the most of your weeks!
So if you fancy jumping on board the organised bus, to get more free time and to feel more relaxed and in control then look no further. With just a few simple changes, you’ll be keeping on top of those goals all year round. Sounds pretty good doesn’t it? If you want to get in on the action then carry on reading!
Is it really all in the planning?
Sadly yes! Let’s start off by talking about why planning is so important for achieving goals. Often people think that planning can take more time, but here at Link Nutrition, we’re firm believers that planning gives us MORE time! Yes, that’s right, taking some time out for a quick planning session (even if it’s just 5-10 minutes) can help us to organise our thoughts, and think logically about what needs to be done, for when, and how we're going to action it!
Not only that, but trust us, the feeling of being more organised is a pretty great one! Most importantly though, we believe it is the key to achieving all of those fab, ambitious goals that you’ve set yourself out to achieve! We believe in it so much, that we’ve started kick-started January by offering you a FREE CGD Journal with every purchase over £40, yes that’s right! We hope that having a shiny new journal will help you to organise, plan and be great, not only in January but throughout the year. We love the health section on each day!
Feeling like you want to find out more?
Here are some of our favourite ways to make the most out of your weeks, we really hope that they will help you to stay at the top of your game and smash 2020!
Set aside time to plan
Firstly, it’s important to make time to plan. We think that the number one reason why planning gets thrown aside is because it involves scheduling in extra time to plan! However, this precious planning time will save you time in the long run and allow you to think clearly!.
Make planning a priority
Make sure that you make planning a priority - it can be easy to let things slip when things get hectic. If you’ve already allocated time to do some planning then try to stick to it where possible. It will really help you to stay on top of things, and meet those goals!
Split your planning into sections
We understand that sometimes our to-do list can be daunting, on top of an already busy schedule. This is why we love our CGD journal so much. With separate spaces for to-do allows you to focus on each goal separately, whatever it is that you want to focus on.
Keep it simple
The best thing about planning is, it’s easy! Planning is certainly the easy part, but what’s even better is that it makes the goals EASIER to achieve. Planning doesn’t have to be complicated, thankfully the wonderful CGD journals do the hard work for you - you can find out more here.
Be realistic
You might be wondering why we’ve put this one into our list, we assure you we want you to dream big! However, it is important to be realistic, set yourself goals that you think are possible to achieve - it’s about the little steps! Remember, if you aim to set yourself a realistic goal, and work at it each day, imagine where you’ll be at the end of the year. Keeping things simple, allows you to be productive - which is key to making the most of each week - remember New Year’s Resolutions are meant to last the year, they’re not just for January!
If you fancy making the most of your weeks then don’t forget that with every order over £40 this January, you’ll receive a free CGD journal to keep you on track and make the most out of 2020. All you need to do is enter the code ‘PINK’ to receive a pink journal or ‘BLACK’ to receive a black journal. We’d love to hear how you’re making the most of your time in the new year, let us know how you're getting on, find us on Facebook or Instagram.
